I paid for the winter season package snow removal for my mother who lives alone and I'd recommend this service to anyone. It took my mom over 2+ hours to try and shovel the driveway and this company came and did it in 10 minutes and salted it. My mom is very appreciative and happy with the service, and I now don't have to worry about my mom dealing with a potential fall risk walking down her driveway in the winter. Dylan came the same day I called him to give me a quote on cleaning up the "jungle" in our backyard along the creek in Fridley. He and his crew came two days later - on a Sunday! They did an awesome job in 3 hours. The yard [1/2 an acre] looks great and we can enjoy the view. The grass had gotten so tall the normal weedeater couldn't cut it. And, it was too dangerous for us to try to cut the brush among the rocks that line the creek. Many thanks to Dylan, Eric and Laine! These young men did an excellent job, and I would use them again.

Unfortunately, my experience with Extra Mile Outdoor Services on a paver project was very disappointing. My gutter and downspout were damaged by two minors (ages 13&14) the business owner hired to do the jackhammering demo. In addition, the polymeric sand failed due to rainfall 18 hrs after install. Dillon agreed the polymeric sand had failed because "it rained too soon", and agreed to power wash it out and reinstall the polymeric sand, but he is now ignoring all communication. After one month, the project has still not met the owners approval. The overall finished project does not reflect professional quality and the owner is well aware of my dissatisfaction. Parts of the project were unfamiliar to the installer and details that were discussed prior to the project were either ignored or completed incorrectly. Communication was inconsistent and there was lack of accountability ( still ongoing) and honesty throughout the project when concerns were brought up. A paver installation is a significant investment and customers should expect quality work done the first time! Based on my experience, I would NOT recommend this company.
All I can say is wow!!! Extra mile outdoor services truly does go the extra mile. Their attention to detail is impeccable and they were so careful not to wreck my lawn and driveway with the huge boulder rocks we did in the backyard. They brought our vision to life, putting in three boulder retaining walls— they did an amazing job. They worked SO hard in the heat and are very determined and dedicated to their work. I would use them over and over again for any landscaping needs.

I don't know a great deal about Extra Mile but they do seem to go the extra mile. They not only put some ice remover on my driveway today but they left me some to do it in the future as needed. When I need some work done I will check them out further!!

They'll take leaves, trim hedges, place shrubbery, help pull weeds in gardens... the list of things that they do are endless so just contact them and talk with them I'm sure that they'll come up with a plan.
